The 4 inch ball valve is a valve that realizes fluid on-off control by rotating a sphere. The center of the sphere is provided with a through hole. When the through hole is aligned with the pipeline, it allows the medium to flow. After rotating 90 °, it is completely blocked. The 4 inch diameter is suitable for large flow systems, which are commonly found in medium- and high-pressure scenarios such as industrial, energy, and municipal engineering. Its design takes into account high sealing, durability, and ease of operation. It is the core control element of medium and large pipeline systems.
Features
The 4 inch Ball Valve adopts a large-flow design, and the full-diameter structure reduces flow resistance, making it suitable for high-flow and high-flow-rate medium transportation. The valve body is mostly made of stainless steel, carbon steel, or alloy steel, which is resistant to high pressure and extreme temperature. It adopts hard seal (metal to metal) or soft seal (PTFE, graphite) optional, wear resistance, anti-initializing, and is suitable for granular or corrosive media.
Applications of 4 inch Ball Valve
Heavy industry field: oil and gas transmission, chemical production, steam pipeline of power station, metallurgical equipment.
Municipal engineering: large water supply pipe network, sewage treatment plant, fire protection system.
Special medium: natural gas, liquefied gas, high-temperature steam, mud, and acid and alkali solution (corrosion-resistant material needs to be selected).
Key control points: main pump import and export, storage tank connection pipeline, and system emergency cutoff.
