Check Valve

Cast iron silence check valve is a valve that automatically opens and closes the valve disc depending on the flow of the medium itself to prevent the medium from flowing back. It is also called a non-return valve, a one-way valve, a reverse flow valve, and a back pressure valve.

Types of flanged check valve

Check valves can be divided into two categories according to their structure:

1. Lifting type (moving along the axis): the valve disc moves along the vertical center line of the valve body. There are two types of such check valves: one is horizontal, installed in horizontal pipes, and the valve body shape is similar to that of a stop valve, and the other is vertical, installed in vertical pipes.
2. Swing type (rotating according to the center of gravity): the muffler check valvedisc rotates around the pin outside the seat. This type of valve has single-disc, double-disc and multi-disc types, but the principle is the same. The water suction bottom valve of the water pump suction pipe is a deformation of the check valve. Its structure is the same as the above two types of check valves, except that its lower end is open to allow water to enter.
